Meet Oksana
Hi, I’m Oksana — owner, lead designer, and the floral heart behind Galbraith
Florist.
My journey with flowers began at 15, when I started working in a flower shop while studying law at university. Even though I spent most of my time scrubbing buckets in the back, it never felt like work. Being around flowers, caring for them, and learning their secrets was a joy that extended beyond my six years in law school.
Weddings are where my passion truly blossoms. The excitement and anticipation of a couple's big day are thrilling to me.
I love visualizing the entire floral vision in my head and crafting floral recipes — figuring out the best combinations feels like being a mad scientist, with formulas and botanical names floating around until I find the perfect mix.
My design style is airy, organic, and unstructured, yet harmonious. I favor soft lines that aren't jumpy, creating arrangements that feel natural and effortless. I gravitate towards an elegant, romantic aesthetic that transcends fleeting trends. My goal is to design florals that are timeless — so they remain beautiful and relevant, without a trend or year stamp on them.
Spring blooms hold a special place in my heart. I adore the delicate nature of muscari, unique tulips, fritillaria, lily of the valley, and hellebore. Their fleeting availability makes them all the more special. And then there's ranunculus and sweet peas—flowers that truly dance in a bouquet, bringing movement and whimsy to every arrangement.
I believe that flowers should tell a story—your story. My aim is to create designs that reflect your unique love story, ensuring that each arrangement feels personal and meaningful. By focusing on timeless elegance and romantic style, I strive to craft floral designs that transcend fleeting trends, so your wedding day remains as beautiful and relevant years from now as it is today. Every bloom is chosen with care, every arrangement thoughtfully composed, to create an atmosphere that is both enchanting and enduring.

My bridesmaids’ bouquets perfectly complemented mine, and the boutonnieres for the groomsmen were small works of art in themselves.
The real showstopper was the archway she designed for our ceremony — it was magical, like stepping into a dream. Every single guest commented on how beautiful the flowers were, and the colors Oksana chose left everyone in awe. What amazed me even more was the care she took with every detail on the wedding day itself. She personally set up each arrangement, making sure every centerpiece on every table was positioned perfectly. After the ceremony, she even made sure the archway was brought back to the reception so it could serve as a gorgeous backdrop for photos. Nothing went to waste, and everything she touched added to the beauty of the day.
What made it all even more special is that Oksana wasn’t just my florist, she was also my bridesmaid. She managed to balance standing by my side with working tirelessly behind the scenes to make sure my wedding looked like something out of a magazine. Her love, dedication, and artistry shone through in every petal, every arrangement, and every moment.
